White Sage from California (Salvia apiana)

White sage (salvia apiana) is a variety of sage that grows freely in the deserts of the American Southwest. It is the most masculine of the Native American incenses. It is a very powerful purifier.

Directions: To burn the sage, place a few leaves in the center of the shell, preferably lit with a wooden match to ignite the mixture. Fan with a feather to extinguish the flame and activate the ember. If used indoors, open a window for a few moments.
